Dripping Springs Independent School District is a 4-A, highly acclaimed independent school district.  The Central Administration office is located at 501 West Mercer Street.

Three elementary schools serve Pre-K through grade 5 for the District.  They are located at 29400 Ranch Road 12 North, 300 Sportsplex Drive, and 1001 Belterra Drive.

Dripping Springs Middle School is located at 940 Highway 290 West and serves grades 6 through 8.

Dripping Springs High School is located at 111 Tiger Lane and serves grades 9 through 12.

As of October 1, 2007, the Dripping Springs Independent School District had 4,003 students enrolled.  Our district is considered one of the finest in the area.  Many families move to Dripping Springs because of the quality of the schools and parents are activily involved in the campuses.

Students from Dripping Springs High School have been accepted into many outstanding institutions of higher learning including  but not limited to Harvard, Princeton, Duke, Stanford, and all of the service academies.  The quality of the School District is reflected in how well our graduates do in these highly rated institutions.
